Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) Lecture Series—In-Person & As Scheduled

2026 Series—N2N Opens the Summer Season with a Splash!

Wednesday, May 27, 6:30-8:00 pm: An Evening with Author Peter Canellos

Please join us for a very special Neighbor-to-Neighbor program—our first of 2026!

We are honored to host award-winning author and journalist Peter Canellos, as he discusses his most recent book, “Revenge for the Sixties: Sam Alito and the Triumph of the Conservative Legal Movement.”

Canellos began his journalism career at the Boston Globe and more recently served as executive editor at Politico. He has received numerous citations for his work, including being named a finalist for the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction. A graduate of Columbia Law School, Peter is noted for his writing about the Supreme Court.

In his book “Revenge for the Sixties”, Canellos examines the forces that shaped Justice Samuel Alito’s judicial career and outlines why understanding Alito’s story is essential to understanding the future of American law and democracy.

There will be time for Q&A after Peter’s presentation. Signed copies of Canellos’ book will be available for purchase at the event.

It is necessary to register to attend, as seating is limited and the program will not be recorded.
