Librarian’s Report:

The written and Financial Reports forTown Meeting were submitted.

The electrical work by Lawrence and Lober has begun. They will return to finish.

The Siber Sled Dog Program is scheduled for April 5th at 1pm.

Nature and Books Discussion Series continues to be very popular. Michelle provided the discussion guide for Eight Bears by Gloria Dickie.

New Business: The meeting was devoted to Nathan William’s presentation of our portfolio with TIAA. Our portfolio has been performing well. There was discussion regarding the current economic pressures and whether or not adjustments should be made. The board agreed with the recommendation not to make changes, but to ride out the ups and downs in the market. If interested, we would need to sign a new agreement to switch to a Socially Responsible portfolio. The board decided this was not the time. There was concern regarding the level of fees charged by TIAA. Galen and John will explore other firms and how they structure their fees and report back to the board.
